Requirements:
* The successful candidate should have a relevant Master’s Degree or higher in Economics 
* At least 5 years of experience working on policy related issues.  
* Strong policy research and analysis skills in international economics and a clear understanding of the requirements for a competitive business climate in Indonesia.
* A good understanding of Regional and Bilateral Free Trade and Comprehensive Partnership Agreements.
* Experience in working with business stakeholders, government policy makers and academic economists.
* Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia;

2. Executive Officer for the Indonesia Services Dialogue (ISD),a newly formed policy forum of stakeholders from business, government and research, with its Secretariat located in APINDO. The ISD aims to discuss and develop policy options for stronger growth and efficiency in the services sectors in Indonesia.  The Executive Officer will work under the direction of three Coordinators from Business, Government and Research to assist them in providing a contact point for stakeholders, monitoring research on services, organizing forums and workshops and 
writing reports of meetings.

Requirements:

* A good Bachelor of Economics degree or higher in a relevant field
* Thesis or at least 3 years work experience related to the services sectors
* Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with high level stakeholders from business sectors, government and research
* Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia

Project title: Intermittent Screening and Treatment or Intermittent Prevention Therapy for control of malaria in pregnancy in Indonesia (STOPMIP)

The positions offer opportunities for motivated candidates to join an international collaborative project between the Eijkman Institute for Molecular Biology and the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, UK. The Eijkman Institute is a prestigious well established internationally acclaimed research institute advancing and contributing to infectious and non-infectious disease based scientific research. Purpose: To work under the mentorship of the project Principal Investigators to ensure the study is implemented according to the clinical trial protocol and support day to day research activities.

Current Medical Practitioner License valid in Indonesia

Additional merit: work experience in rural settings 3 months or more. Knowledge in infectious diseases or public health is desirable.

The successful candidate will be based in South West Sumba district. He/she is open to learning new skills. Responsibilities include

- Assist the PIs in the preparation and translation of consent forms, clinical record forms and preparation of SOPs.

- Engage in the training of the study team with guidance from the PIs

The Habibie Center

Senior Qualitative Researcher The Habibie Center has recently launched a large-scale, 30-month project to enhance available knowledge about violence dynamics and causes of social conflict in Indonesia and develop evidence-based policy advice for government and other stake-holders. As part of this project, a team of researchers will utilize both quantitative and qualitative data on incidences of violent conflict across seven target provinces to: × Develop a Violence Intensity Index to systematically categorize and identify areas prone to violent conflict; × Produce regular policy briefs to identify emerging issues related to violent conflict and offer policy solutions to stake-holders; × Conduct two large-scale mixed-methods studies in Indonesia, each of which will look in depth at longer-term issues related to violence and its management in Indonesia. These studies will use qualitative data as well as quantitative field data that is provided by a third party on a periodic basis. Research findings are disseminated through regular publications, as well as in national seminars and regional workshops. Policy recommendations will be socialized regularly to key government counterparts and civil society actors. Organizational Context The Habibie Center provides the analysis for the National Violence Monitoring Scheme (NVMS), a program which will work in close partnership with the Office of the Deputy Minister for Social Vulnerability in the Coordinating Ministry for People’s Welfare (Kemenkokesra). THC provides timely policy-relevant analysis and a deeper investigation of issues underlying patterns of violence in thirteen Indonesian provinces -- Jabodetabek, West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, Lampung, Maluku, North Maluku, Aceh, West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara, Central Sulawesi, Papua, and West Papua.
