Tetra Tech ARD

Tetra Tech ARD is currently accepting expressions of interest for the Project Assistant (Jakarta based) on our USAID Indonesia Forestry and Climate Support Project (USAID IFACS). 

USAID IFACS seeks to reduce the threats of deforestation and climate change, and help the Government of Indonesia (GOI) conserve the country's tropical forests, wildlife, and ecosystem processes (including carbon sequestration).

JOB SUMMARY: 

The Project Assistant is responsible for assisting Administrative Officer in providing project support in administration specially in HR administration. Together with Administrative Assistant and Office Assistant, he/she will assist Grants Team, Technical Team and Operation Team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: 

1. Handling HR administration such as health insurance, timesheet, etc

2. Documenting personnel files properly

3. Together with Administrative Assistant and Office Assistant in doing process of visa and working permit for foreigner or international visitor

4. Together with Administrative Assistant and Office Assistant in doing review lease agreement for expatriate house and offices

5. Assist Grants Team in collecting and documenting grantee application, developing and maintaining grantee data base, and assist in filing the correspondences

6. Assist Technical Team and Operations Team if necessary

7. Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as requested by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS): 

University Degree

At least 3 years of experience in equivalent position. 

Has experience in HR and administration.

Has experience with grants management. 

Must have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment. 

Must be flexible, willing to perform other duties and work irregular hours.

Able to communicate fluently and effectively. 

Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, diplomacy, willingness to listen and respect for colleagues. 

Must be capable of working both individually and as part of a team. 

Native fluency in spoken and written Indonesian.

Professional competency in spoken and written English.

Ability to engage in activities occurring in multiple field sites with multiple stakeholders across Indonesia.

Willingness to travel extensively in Indonesia.

The Strategies Against Flu Emergence (SAFE)

PROGRAM ASSISTANT The Strategies Against Flu Emergence (SAFE) is a three-year program (March 15, 2011 – March 14, 2014) funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) based in Jakarta, and implemented by Development Alternatives, Inc. (DAI).
