Requirements
·      Bachelor Degree in relevant field (Education, Curriculum Development, School Administration)
·      Experience in education development field (Teaching, Curriculum Implemented, Education Outreach, Program Planning)
·      Fluent conversational and written English
·      Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Internet research)
 
General Purpose:
1.  To plan, organize, implement and manage non-formal education outreach program for all of Hidung Merah’s students. (Including English language classes, tutoring program and informal education support classes) 
2.  Implement curriculum in a creative learning environment that encourages children to learn, develop, understand and reach their personal education goals. 
3.  Oversee and supervised the Field Instructor (teacher) and Volunteers (if any) in all education claasess to follow the vision and mission of Yayasan Hidung Merah.
 
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
·   Oversee, evaluate and report to Managing Director about Field Instructors and Volunteers in all education classes.
·   Develop needs assessment and “placement test” to evaluate necessary structure of learning
·   Evaluate and report about the overall progress and success of education program.
·   Encourage children to do their personal best and assist them in raising their traditional school grades
·   Maintain and report accurate and complete records of students’ development and attendance.
·   Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of Yayasan Hidung Merah.  
·   Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and directors.  
·   Keep up-to-date with teaching resources, development procedures and creative teaching techniques.

Key tasks and responsibilities
Responsible of the support service which include  finance, logistic, human resources,administration  and general affairs of Jakarta Office of French Red Cross.
 
Specific Tasks:
Finance
·   Be responsible in cash managing and the banks accounts, cash verification including check the validity of invoices before payment, payment record on adaily basis in the software and ensure the availability of funds in the account at anytime;
·   Prepare the monthly treasury forecast forFRC Indonesia delegation;
·   Be responsible to follow the reconciliation between expenditures committedand the budget forecast for FRC Indonesia delegation and analyze the differences between budget orecastsandexpenditures done;
·   Make the budget for local runningcosts;
·    Propose an update of Jakarta budgets according to the evolution of the activities and submit them to the Head of Delegation with explanations and appropriate comments.
 
Logistic
·    Be responsible for logistic including inventories, work station,  accomodation and flight arrangement;
·    Beresponsible in all purchase and procurement process according to French Red Cross procedures;
·    Prepare contractor purchase order for each procurement process;
·    Beresponsible for fleet management of FRC Indonesia Delegation.

Human Resources
·    Management of staff team, including recruitment and preparing work agreement;
·    Bereponsible for visa/workingpermit arrangement forFRC  delegates;
·    Follow up alltypes of absences, annual leave and health reimbursement of all staff.
 
and General Affairs
·    Managing administration and support service;
·    Support the Head of Delegation in scheduling activities, appointments, and meetings, andensuring that logistical
and administrative supports are provided for all scheduled activities;
·    Prepare business letter, report and other document;
·    Maintain file and general office organisation.
 
 
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 
Education:
Preferred university degree in relevant discipline (Social Science,  Development, Finance or otherrelevant
fields)
 
Experience:
5years experiencein administration and officemanagement
 
Skills:
Excellent communication skills both in Bahasa and English, in oral and written;
Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office;

A. Background

United Cities and Local Governments Asia Pacific (UCLG ASPAC) is one of the eight Regional Sections of the United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) and based in Jakarta, Indonesia. UCLG is the largest local government organization in the world and the officially recognized voice of Local Government by the United Nations. The Asia and Pacific region is the biggest of the eight sections in UCLG with linkages to more than 7.000 local governments. It represents well over 3.76 billion people –more than half of the world population- and incorporates economically fast developing countries such as China, India and Indonesia.

UCLG ASPAC is the key knowledge management hub on local government issues in the Asia-Pacific region. It promotes democratic local government, supports cooperation between cities and their associations, and facilitates programs, networks and partnerships to develop the capacity of local governments and the associations. 

Moreover, UCLG ASPAC represents local governments politically within the international community, and with the United Nations and its agencies. It also promotes inclusive societies which safeguard equality, social and economic justice, and sustainable community development.

UCLG ASPAC is engaged in all relevant thematic fields for nurturing sustainable development comprising poverty alleviation, climate change, decentralization, local finance and MDGs.

UCLG ASPAC is accepting expression of interests from qualified Manager: Strategic Service candidates. The Manager will be placed at the UCLG ASPAC regional office in Jakarta and provides support to the ongoing operations ensuring high quality, accuracy and consistency of work. The Manager reports directly to the Secretary General of UCLG ASPAC.

B. Responsibilities

The Manager will be responsible for the following:

1.  Support the Secretary General for Statutory Meetings & Events

• Coordinating preparations of bi-annual Executive Bureau, annual Council   and bi-annual 
  Regional General Assembly Meetings with the host local government/association 
• Preparing minutes of meetings and proceedings of events
• Liaising with UCLG World for bi-annual World Executive Bureau (WExBu), annual Council 
   and tri-annual General Assembly participation by ASPAC Presidency, Representatives and 
   Secretary General
• Reviewing and preparing relevant materials for the meetings/events 

2. Representation of Secretary General/Secretariat in and organization of  regional and 
    international events

    • Attending strategic events in the Asia Pacific region or at world level
    • Preparing and conveying presentations at events
 • Assisting in preparing and organizing regional events

 
3. External Relationships & Liaison with ASEAN Secretariat

    • Liaison and development of relationships with international organizations  and strategic 
       stakeholders (UN organizations, EU, ADB etc.)
    • Liaison with ASEAN Secretariat on local governance agenda  
    • Conduct policy analysis on matters related to democratic local governance
    • Preparing and organizing meetings of UCLG ASPAC Standing Committee

4.   Assist Secretary General in managing the UCLG ASPAC Secretariat 
•  Support development of strategic plan
•  Support formulation of bi-annual program and annual budget
•  Support implementation of annual plans
•  Support monitoring & evaluation at regular intervals
•  Support production of monthly and yearly reports on program implementation
•  Support composition of conference reports or proceedings

5.  Special EU Projects
• Assist in developing agenda and preparations for upcoming activities and events
• Liaison with European Union, partner organizations, Indonesian authorities, members and 
   relevant stakeholders
• Preparation of policy paper(s)/inputs for regional and national dialogue

C.  Special requirements of the assignment

•Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in public administration, international relations, economics, political science or related field
•At least three years of professional experience in regional or international cooperation related to governance, decentralization, social inclusion, MDGs
•Sound background in carrying out analytical work and research
•Sufficient experience in preparing presentations for international events
•Strong written and oral communication skills (Indonesia, English)
•Computer software skills in all basic Microsoft word programs
•Ability to develop liaison with senior representatives from partner organizations and stakeholders and work co-operatively
•Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines required
•Experience in working in an international environment, respecting different cultures and nationalities
•Considerable domestic and international travel may be required

D.   Assignment period

The assignment will be for a period of 12 months with a possibility of further extension, subject to performance review. It shall commence in October 2012.

Currently we are seeking a *Regional Database Manager.*

The *Regional Database Manager* is a new post that will support the fast
growing and changing needs of the Greenpeace Southeast Asia regional office
(GPSEA). We are now approaching a critical time where the fantastic growth
potential we have can only be realized with a powerful supporter database,
insightful and strategic audience intelligence and planning and high
quality and precise database marketing.

A key focus will be on the vital business development objective of
migrating our supporter data from our existing database ‘Friends’ to a new,
fit for purpose, database system that will serve the needs of not only
fundraising but all business aspects of the organization that are driven by
our supporters and their data. As this database will be the system that
holds holistic supporter data for the organization, strong cross
departmental working will be required, especially with the Mass
Mobilization department who are also a high volume user of supporter data.
Additionally, they will coordinate the database project alongside staff
from Greenpeace International and the database vendor.

*Qualification :*

1.Educated to degree level in marketing, business, IT or other relevant field.

2.At least 4 years experience in CRM database systems and the use of high volume customer or supporter data.

3.Demonstrable track record of successfully migrating data to new database systems and developing all relevant processes.

4.Excellent planning and strategic development skills

5.At least 3 years experience in customer planning and analysis and applying insights strategically in a sales, marketing or fundraising environment.

6.At least 2 years experience in the line management and development of staff.

7.Experience of commissioning and/or running qualitative and quantitative research that provides new audience/customer intelligence

8.Knowledge of data mining / analysis programs.

9.Strong written and oral communication skills (in English).

10.Advanced level of skills in Word, Excel and Access or equivalent Open Office packages.

11.Creative, innovative and ideas based approach.

12.Strong analytical mind with a focus on quality and accuracy.

13.Ability to communicate complex ideas to a variety of staff at different levels of the organization.

14.Commitment to the ideals of Greenpeace.
